How long can a company remain dormant?

There is no limit to the time a company can remain dormant, but fees will apply in order to produce dormant accounts.

The company can remain dormant for as long as you like. At the end of the accounting year we will need to produce and file dormant accounts. For this we will charge an accounts filing fee.

Alternatively, the company could be struck off the register at Companies House, for which an administration fee also applies.
