Starting Interim Management - Holidays for Interims

Life enhancing holidays

Gaps for Grumpies is here to offer you a fantastic life experience.

You can make a significant contribution to the developing world, and have a marvellous holiday at the same time.

Gaps for Grumpies has been put together by an interim manager, but not exclusively for interims, yet it might offer some joy and fulfilment between assignments. It offers development projects linked with adventurous travel in various parts of the world.

Taking a Grumpy Gap is one of the most exciting and rewarding life-enhancing experiences you can have. This is the chance to see the world and to give something back.

Gaps for Grumpies will run projects in FIVE countries in 2008:

  • Ghana in West Africa
  • Kenya and Tanzania in East Africa
  • Peru in Latin America
  • Fiji in the South Pacific
  • and for the first time India in Asia

Currently the costs for 2 week and 5 week projects are the same whichever country you travel to.

A 2 week development project costs only £750

A 5 week development project costs only £1,200

All the volunteers who are working on building projects are also asked to donate at least £150 which is used locally to purchase building materials and equipment.

Gaps for Grumpies will arrange holidays which start immediately after the project has been completed, from the country where the project is located, of both one week and 3 weeks duration (with longer tours available in Peru and East Africa). The prices vary from country to country according to the holiday you choose, but start from only £600.

We think that this is a great project, run extremely well by professionals, and worthy of consideration by all interim managers.

Why let all those youngsters doing gap years have all the fun?   Why not get in there too?
