We prepare self-assessment tax returns for many of our clients and submit these to HMRC. Because we already hold much of the required information about you and your company, we can provide this service at a very attractive price. Our fee, however, is based on the complexity of the individual return. Our basic fee is £250 (+ VAT) and the majority of our clients fall into this category.
Some of our clients have long standing relationships with former advisors and we would never wish to compromise these arrangements. Other clients find that as they progress for the first time from permanent employment into a form of independent employment they welcome the support that is available from our personal tax team. As an existing corporate client you find that the personal tax team is able work on your affairs efficiently and with minimum demands on your time and personal record keeping.
The Competex personal tax team constantly monitors adherence to tax filing and tax payment deadlines, ensuring clients avoid late filing penalties and interest charges wherever possible. They also review all clients’ PAYE coding notices and liaise with HMRC on revisions to tax codes.
